Estimated annual base pay: $29.38 (minimum) - $36.73 (midpoint) - $44.09 (maximum) USD Hourly

The Operations Specialist II reports to Operations or Technical Leadership. The position supports production from a technical standpoint and has a basic understanding of the product being produced in the area. It is the first line of defense for production related issues. The position solves minor manufacturing problems and works with members to implement process and product improvements.
What you will be doing...
Understands six sigma tools. Participates in 5S
Troubleshoots and solves problems
Understands and follows processes. Identifies areas for improvement.
Identifies mistakes on various manufacturing documents
Interprets work instructions and drawings
Trains members on manufacturing processes
Evaluates new tooling for application to current designs
Recommends revisions of methods of operation or material handling, alterations in equipment layout or other changes to increase production or improve standards
Dispositions standard nonconformances (i.e. QNs/NCRs/ATRs)
Change solder pots per maintenance schedule
Change salt pots per maintenance schedule
Document maintenance in Sharepoint system
Run sectioning, mounting, lapping, and measuring equipment in Metallurgical Lab
Document laser welding certification data in Sharepoint system
What we are looking for...
High school diploma or International equivalent required
Minimum 3-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required
Basic written/verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of six sigma tools and lean principles
Basic computer skills (i.e., Excel, Word, SAP, WISE, PLM)
Able to interpret basic schematics or drawings and identify mistakes
Basic knowledge of applicable machining processes including Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) programing
